Bio'Ello to my little spot on the web. One of many for me. Dunno if this'll be used but meh...whatever.
What am I? Hmm, well I'd like to think that I'm a dreamer, writer, friend, singer, musician, storyteller, an artist, an athlete, trustworthy, considerate, slightly sarcastic, and all those other great things. In truth, I'm probably little of what it is I'd like to be. But, I'm working on it, and I guess, in some way, we all are.
I live in a small town in Saskatchewan, and am scared of leaving the place that I feel safe. Which is funny, coming from a city girl like me. But then again, I guess three years does a lot to someone.
I live on sarcasm, and come off as a little rude. But the truth is, I'm so scared of making a mistake that I turn to my only defense. I hate feeling vulnerable, talking about my feelings (except when I write and then everything pores out) and dislike having to trust people. There are reasons behind them, but I still hate it about myself.
And, I suppose that that's my in a nutshell.
Oh, I'm also a sport-a-holic. Play just about every sport our school has to offer (except for cross country, curling, and golf.) And I think that that's the only reason that I don't win Female Athlete of the Year. That goes to my younger sister. lol:P
I play: basketball, volleyball, track and field (made it to Provincials in shotput this year), badminton, and people keep telling me that I should go for the football team. I don't think the guys would appreciate a girl on their team, though I will boast and say that I can throw better than most of them.
I also take drama and it's my LIFE. Seriously, I thrive on drama (good drama, not the highschool shit).
And I write. Constantly. On the internet, short stories, books, my personal journal....everywhere I can manage it. I also live on art. I can't draw worth crap, though I can do an okay random pic during math class. No, I'm actually not that bad...it just takes me awhile and I have to like what I'm drawing.
And that's me. Hope you like. If you don't, I don't mind. I'm that way with people as well.
